Dublin, Ireland - Lace & Tassels, an online emporium offering premium sextech products, was founded by Vannpyra Wynters in 2020. As others stayed home and started to pay more attention to their sexual desires and fantasies during the pandemic, they reached out to Vannpyra, a kink connoisseur, for help and guidance. Recognizing the need for more open dialogue around sextech and kink, Vannpyra began running online masterclasses on these topics through Facebook, which ultimately led to the launch of Lace & Tassels.

Vannpyra initially aimed to offer products by women for women, as men have traditionally dominated the adult industry. However, she has since expanded to include products for people of all genders and bodies. As a queer woman, a survivor, and a spoonie, she understands the challenges faced by many in the industry and hopes to help close the gap by offering a safe and welcoming space for all. She continues to offer personalized advice and guidance through the site's Concierge service.

In addition to serving customers, Lace & Tassels is passionate about doing its part for the environment and the community. The company offers eco-friendly and ethical pleasure products, supports local artists, writers, and causes, and takes steps to reduce its carbon footprint. Vannpyra also carefully curates the emporium's selection of premium products, striving to keep the range accessible, ethical, and affordable without sacrificing design and aesthetics.

The business is the result of Vannpyra's hard work and dedication, as she has invested all of her time, energy, and savings into building the brand and community without outside help. She is self-taught in every aspect of the business and continues to learn and grow through workshops and courses. In 2021, she graduated from UCD's innovation academy and is currently studying at Sextech School under the guidance of Bryony Cole. She is also a member of the Femtech Collective.
